  Project/Client: banking Location : EU Start date: ASAP Duration : 6 months (extension possibility to 1 year) Role Overview: We are looking for a Mid/Senior Business Analyst to support a data project for bank.

The ideal candidate should have banking knowledge and a strong understanding of business processes within this domain.

Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and APIs would be highly beneficial.

Must-Have Requirements: At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Process/Product Owner, or similar role in Finance, Business Intelligence, IT, or Risk Management Strong banking domain knowledge and experience working with banking products, IT systems, and risk data Proficiency in business analysis, requirements engineering, and business process modeling Experience working with large datasets and translating data insights into actionable business strategies Stakeholder engagement and leadership experience, working with cross-functional teams Familiarity with data warehouse concepts, reporting solutions, and software development methodologies Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Office, Jira, and Confluence Advanced English skills (both written and spoken) Key Responsibilities: Lead business and solution requirements gathering, including functional and non-functional specifications Collect, analyze, and document data requirements, mapping, and technical specifications Manage stakeholder engagement and drive communication across teams Assess and improve data quality and metadata collection processes Work closely with development, testing, and business delivery teams to ensure successful project execution Support data stewards  and contribute to business analysis team development
