**About this vacancy**:
This position involves analyzing business needs, defining requirements, and ensuring that IT solutions align with business objectives. The analyst works closely with stakeholders, including business users, IT developers, and project managers, to translate business requirements into functional specifications and ensure the effective delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather business requirements.
- Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and data requirements.
- Identify gaps between current systems and desired business outcomes.
2. Functional Specification Development
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
- Create use cases, process models, and data flow diagrams to support the development team.
- Ensure specifications are clear, complete, and actionable.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with business stakeholders to prioritize requirements and project deliverables.
- Collaborate with IT development teams to ensure a mutual understanding of requirements.
- Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to address issues and questions.
4. Project Support and Coordination
- Assist in project planning, including defining project scope, objectives, and timelines.
- Support project managers in tracking progress and ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that the delivered solution meets business needs.
5. Documentation and Training
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes and system functionalities.
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users.
- Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
6. Quality Assurance and Improvement
- Monitor system performance and suggest improvements to optimize efficiency.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project success and areas for improvement.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies to recommend enhancements.
**What we expect from you**:
- Master's degree in Management Engineering or similar and passion for the above depicted activities
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation tools (e. g. , JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio).
- Knowledge of business process modeling techniques and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Italian and English.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent certification is a plus
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certification is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
