Job Description: Provide specialized business application management guidance and support for a functional area.
Responsible for requirements gathering through the application lifecycle, business testing, and supports business process documentation and user support of the application.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES CUSTOMER Responsible for intake of projects and major initiatives Responsible for business process documentation for all business applications owned/managed Responsible for day-to-day operations process management to ensure consistency and delivery according to established SLA Responsible for working with Technology to establish a partnership and ensure all business requirements and Data Governance requirements are met Provide support on deployment and change management for initiatives relating to applications owned/managed Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback Provide feedback and thoughts on possible solutions to issues/risks arising throughout the lifecycle of a project Identify and escalate risks that could impact project timelines or the quality of deliverables to the project manager and business owner Act as an escalation point for application and operation issues May provide project management support to various extents SHAREHOLDER Responsible for getting input from the appropriate SMEs to aid with making informed decisions Ensure adherence to the Data Governance Framework Ensure adherence to guidelines and regulatory requirements Demonstrated ability to build relationships within the team and with key stakeholders Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise in own area and keep current with leading-edge technologies trends/developments Support the development of business cases including benefits identification Support and/or implement solutions that mitigate risk and maximize service availability, efficiency, and effectiveness EMPLOYEE / TEAM Participate fully as a member of the team, supporting a positive work environment Support the team by continuously enhancing knowledge/expertise Keep current on emerging trends/developments Participate in personal performance management and development activities Keep others informed and up to date about the status/progress of projects Contribute to the success of the team by assisting others in the completion of work activities Contribute to a fair, positive, and equitable environment Act as a brand champion for your business area/function and the bank Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and other business units BREADTH & DEPTH Experienced working professional role providing specialized business application management activities Advanced knowledge of applications supported by the team Requires experienced, conceptual, and practical knowledge within their own specialty Advanced understanding of business/functional drivers and processes Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills Leads projects or work streams within broader projects Exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information Work performed under minimal management guidance and supervision Identify and lead problem resolutions EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION Undergraduate degree or technical certificate 3+ years in business analysis or related fields Strong data analysis skills Project management experience is an asset Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with data visualization tools Preferably have experience with Microsoft Azure services Ability to bridge the gap between business users and their technical requirements Knowledge of data policy and governance principles Who We Are: TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
