Business Controller Contract Logistics

** Your Role**: Will you be our Business Controller who is able to act as a strong Finance Business Partner, both at the strategic-tactical level and in day-to-day operations? The challenge lies not only in executing these analyses, concepts and solutions, but it is also important that you know how to communicate these well to both internal and external stakeholders.
** Your Responsibilities**:
- Analyses the monthly P&L in respect of accuracy and reasons for deviations to the prior month and rolling forecast
- Perform and drive the monthly, quarterly and yearly closing for his/her area of responsibility
- Details variances analysis: Actual / Forecast / Prior Month or Year as per management request
- KPIs verification and deterioration (productivity, margin, etc. )
- Reviews results with the Business Field Managers and National Controllers
- Assists Business Field Managers on day-to-day financial related issues
- Analyses Loss Making Sites and prepare an action plan with responsible Location and Business Field managers
- Regularly reviews the development of idle spaces
- Reviews customer contracts for tariff updates or changes in the scope of services
- Draft and financial reviews of the BIA based on input from Responsible Business Field Manager and obtains signatures according to the catalogue of competences
- Verify the CapEx spending in line with the approved Investment Applications
- Perform sporadic sites audits
- Ad-hoc financial analysis/projects as per management requests
- Coordinates and assists local and Regional Management in the preparation of rolling forecast and annual target processes
**Your Skills and Experiences**:
- Entrepreneurial thinking and acting (Cost sensitive, value-focused, showing strong ownership attitude)
- Proven experience in Financial topics
- Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language

- Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities

- Willingness to travel
- Minimum: Master degree preferably in Financial Management / equivalent diploma (Chartered Accountant, etc. ) or 4/5+ years experience in controlling area, preferably gained in contract logistics business
- Leadership responsibility in a multi-location work environment and in direct and indirect reporting structures
