THE POSITION**:

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive person for the position of Controller for our office in Milan!

As a Business Controller, you will join the Finance department dedicated to the Human Pharma Business Unit of Boehringer Ingelheim Spa.

You will be support the Controlling team in planning and reporting processes and in the monthly closure activities while partnering with cross functional stakeholders (e. g.

marketing&sales department, SCM, HR, corporate functions, etc. ).

Moreover, you will drive process improvements, ensure overall budget adherence, highlighting risks and opportunities and being a strategic reference for business decisions.

***Tasks & responsibilities**:

- Support the Finance team during planning process (Budget and Long-term forecast) and yearly updates, preparing of analysis and presentations, and updating the official system.

- Act as a financial business partner, provide the sufficient support to ensure the achievement of financial targets and to support decision making, including cost management, "sales gross-to-net" analysis and any kind of ad-hoc analysis

- Manage monthly and yearly closing processes, in collaboration with local business partners, local finance team, global business service centers and corporate finance

- Provide effective and efficient Reporting, using state-of-the art reporting and business analytics platforms.

Ensures high quality, efficient process and timely task completion.

- Builds a solid relationship with other Finance teams and the business by cultivating solid relationships with budget holders based on mutual respect and taking on the role as consultative partner.

- Assist the Head of Finance and Senior Business Controllers in projects or one-time activities requested both by local management as well as by Corporate

***Requirements**:

- University degree in Economics or Business Administration

- Strong Controlling and Accounting skills

- Working experience in Controlling / Finance for at least 3+ years is mandatory

- Strong interest in data analytics and innovation mindset

- Team Player with excellent communication and influencing capabilities

- Excellent MS Excel knowledge; SAP, SAP AfO, Power BI, Tableau or Power automate knowledge is a plus

- Fluent level of written and spoken Italian and English
