Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Business Developer for Salomon (Milano and North of Italy) on a fixed term contract until 28. 02. 2026 to:Drive sales and promote the brand to achieve significant sales targets for SalomonEnsure an exceptional consumer experience at assigned accounts and OMNI channel touch pointsBuild partnerships with key specialty sporting goods retailers by developing joint plans to serve the consumer that benefit both Salomon and the retailerYou will work in close collaboration with our Market Manager, Area Sales Managers, Customer Service, Shopper Marketing Manager, and Influencer Marketing Manager. You will report directly to the Market Manager. Main Activities:Sales & DistributionAchieve the seasonal sales and distribution targets in the defined territoryDevelop a seasonal "game plan" to drive Salomon brand guidelines, strategies and prioritiesBuild, present and coordinate seasonal Joint Business/Marketing plans with assigned Premium Partners that deliver on strategic objectives of Salomon and maximize consumer preference and brand experienceMeet the seasonal key product category objectives in sales and distributionIdentify territory sales, distribution and promotion opportunitiesTake care of all customer-related topics - sales and accounting aspectsSell Thru & Consumer ExperienceEnsure a high level of product expertise and brand knowledge (Shop Pro Training) for store employees in Premium Partner and selected category specialty doors for a best-in-class consumer experienceIncrease and maximize Salomon in-store brand visibility and image through defined product assortments and seasonal key story packagesManage and execute local consumer activations/events in Premium Partner Network as requiredCoordinate a seamless sell-thru execution, utilizing internal resources (shopper, customer service, IMM)RelationshipDevelop and maintain great working relationships with key personnel in each accountDevelop and maintain close cooperation with Salomon ASM communityDevelop and maintain relationships with the local sports environment/community (clubs, resorts, events)ReportingPrepare and review customer performance reports on a seasonal basisAnalyze and report competitor distribution, in-store presence and offersProvide information to Market Manager on trade related information on an ongoing basisComplete all reports and records required and submit on a timely basisShare best practices across sales and marketing teamsQualificationsEssential Skills & ExperienceAt least 2 to 5 years of experience in sales with strong Sporting Goods expertise.
Any other experience in the Sports and Outdoor Industry will be welcomed.
