Business Development Associate
The purpose of the job is to support the BD Director to build sales by contacting and building relationships with new and existing clients.
Business Development Associate assists the BD Director with the development of sales and marketing materials, analyze business competition, maintain corporate contact lists, and organize BD events.
**Principal Accountabilities
To support the Line Manager to identify potential clients and partners
To support the Line Manager in the evaluation of clients' needs in terms of compliance or processes gaps
To support the Line manager in strategic activities to promote SeQure services in terms of strategic development
To contact potential clients and partners
To analyse business competitors
To regularly communicate and feed networking with client representatives
To support the Line Manager in preparing bid grids, company presentation slide decks and marketing campaigns
To present/ moderate/ facilitate at bid defence meetings and other company presentations
To support the Line Manager in preparing budget proposals, confidentiality agreements, master service agreements, and contracts or service orders with clients, partners and vendors
To ensure regular customer feedback is recorded from customers
To ensure contact management system is maintained to effectively track BD activities and follow-up
To support marketing to organize and exhibit at conferences
To contribute to the preparation of marketing material like brochures, flyers, newsletters etc.
To follow up industry news, market conditions, client's financial status and technology changes
To initiate and implement improved departmental processes and procedures
**Professional Background and Experience
Bachelor's degree in scientific matters (Biology, Pharmacy, Chemistry)
6 months of previous experience in Life Sciences environment preferred
