Job Description**:
The Business Development Manager leads a team of both Field and Inside Sales Rep that develops and executes the country sales Strategy to acquire new perspective customers.
The Business Develoment Manager (BDM) is an action-oriented leader who proactively collaborates with internal stakeholders in Commercial services, Finance, Retailer and Asset Management - in order to ensure profitable and sustainable growth - while supporting core business retention and other efficiency programs.
Direct reports: 4
Scope: Italy - Country National & European Customers.
Yearly Sales Revenue approx.
8M$
Some of the Key accountabilities of this role are:
- Actively contribute to the Country Strategy Plan with strong growth initiatives, along with Country Leadership and other Commercial leaders
- Manage the Opportunity Salesforce pipeline, support growth and retention of existing Customers together with all commercial team;
- Lead, motivate, develop the New Business team to meet/exceed Sales targets
- Define annual Sales budget by assessing business growth in SMEs and Big Tickets
- Define Marketing Plan related to Commercial strategy together with Marketing team
- Support in Transformation & innovation projects
What we look for
- Business/Economic Degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years experience in a customer facing role.
Relevant industry experience a plus
- Sales/Sales Management in FMCG
- Previous experience managing people
- Worked with financial measures and KPIs
- Achieved results in a cross-cultural environment
- Marketing & Sales planning
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Works with a minimum amount of supervision and is capable of prioritizing multiple tasks.
- Good Presentation Skills, strong written communication skills, interpersonal savvy.
- Promotes a culture of collaboration, agile, inclusion and diversity.
- Microsoft 360 user, Salesforce a plus

Italian and English fluency

Bachelors

5 - 7 years
