JOB OBJECTIVE
-
Main areas of business in the scope of the position are:
- infrastructures protection and smart cities
- cyber security
- homeland security & defence
- digital transformation of Public Administrations and Large Enteprises
He/she will provide a market view transversal to the Thales organization, identifying and developing internal synergies and facilitating the dialogue between the prospect customers, Thales Group and relevant partners and stakeholders.
He/she will leverage on his extensive business networks to identify and provide opportunities for Thales to valorize its value added and local capabilities in the Domestic market.
He/she will also promote Thales capabilities in the Domestic market, increasing Group visibility and market awareness and providing thought leadership towards the clients/stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES_
- Analyse and keep updated the Market analysis for the target segments identified
- Define, ** i**n coordination with Sales & Marketing and Product Teams, a positioning strategy for the markets and a commercial plan to be pursued
- Develop specific business opportunities, including their qualification in terms of budgets, scope, value proposition and partnerships and coordinate with Sales and bid teams the Capture Plan
- Promote Thales capabilities towards target markets, also through communication / marketing actions, and towards specific customers, increasing customer intimacy and developing a trusted partner relationship with them
- Guarantee Operational expertise / briefings / presentations / white papers;

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS_
- understands customer decision processes and has a senior commercial experience;
- has in depth knowledge and experience in the target market segments;
- has well developed personal relationships and networking in the target markets;
- has the drive to identify and pursue opportunities up to their conclusion;
- can provide both strategic and tactical recommendations;
- is transparent and possesses high communication skills;
- is able to transfer knowledge to all different levels of customer expertise through developing and providing lectures, white papers, concept and product presentations at meetings, conferences & exhibitions
- is a team player;
- is prepared to travel on a regular basis;
