What you will be doing

World Courier is a Global Specialty Logistics Company that designs world-class supply chain programs in complete alignment with customers' business goals.

Must have experience of the logistic industry sector and/or ideally knowledge of the Italian Health Care/ Clinical Trial market and ideally based in Milano or Rome Areas.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage a portfolio of new and existing clients across all BioPharm markets

- Develop account plan(s) and delivery mechanisms to enable meeting/exceeding target

- Build and explore in-depth understanding of the customer's business, industry, strategic direction & competitors

- Develop strategic, value added partnership with the customer by working with the key decision makers & influencers to position long term strategic issues and solutions

- Build understanding of full WC's capabilities and service/product offerings in the customer arena

- Deal with all aspects of specific marketing campaigns, tradeshows & seminars

- Identify, qualify and prioritize all potential opportunities related to the account(s)

- Engage regional WC operatives to identify opportunities to position their services into the account(s)

- Work with multi-functional departments to guide development of solutions to the customer

- Deliver solutions which are highly valued by the customer as high impact, complex and strategic

- Pro-actively monitor, manage and improve quality through specific metrics, customer satisfaction and issue resolution

- Identify risk areas & build and manage contingency to mitigate

- Maintaining all CRM data systems, including account set up, credit control & monthly reports

What your background should look like

What you'll have:

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

- Previous experience in Sales department

- Graduate degree

- Languages: Fluent in Italian & English

- Experience working with pharmaceutical/life science industry would be beneficial

- Professional experience in Business development in the transport sector

- Excellent communication skills - verbally & written

- Outgoing, energetic personality

- Relationship building/Management and presentation skills

- Motivated to succeed, goal oriented, strong customer focus and self

- dependent

- Proficient in Microsoft Office- Able to follow procedures & instructions and be able to provide relevant information on request

- Professionalism & credibility at the highest levels

- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
