Business Development Manager
Savino Del Bene is looking for a Business Development Manager for one of its Global Vertical Markets.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for international business development, implementing sales strategies, and strengthening the company's positioning in the assigned markets.
To this end, they will collaborate with the group's commercial teams and directly engage with large international clients.
Main Responsibilities: Develop the commercial strategy for assigned countries by analyzing the current positioning, development prospects, and priority objectives for the relevant industry sector. Define the promotional activity plan, including participation in trade fairs. Carry out development actions aimed at acquiring new clients, both indirectly by supporting the Group's commercial teams at a local level and directly by engaging with large international clients. Identify new channels and methods for reaching clients. Monitor sales performance, analyze metrics, and take corrective actions for the assigned markets. Required Skills and Experience: At least 8 years of experience in the freight forwarding sector in internationally-oriented commercial roles. Preferably, a bachelor's or master's degree. Experience in market analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities. Experience in developing marketing strategies at regional and national levels. Leadership and people development skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent knowledge of both English and Italian. Willingness to travel internationally. Workplace: Global Headquarters of Savino Del Bene in Scandicci (FI).
Contract Type: Appropriate job level and salary based on the candidate's profile.
