In this role you will have a clear platform, great support and training - autonomously taking on the challenges: To serve the business sectors Fire Protection or Sprinkler, installers, distributors, consultants and contractors, your range of tasks is large and the customer constantly in focus.
You will prospect and visit owners, engineering offices and contractors and installers in order to promote the company's systems and products.
As a result of this, you are having a very diverse customer contact.
Next to following new and existing projects in the market through regular customer visits and networking you also insure the necessary training to both customers and partners, end users and so on.
In other words, the great service can only get provided through combining technology, technical expertise and business. The RoleAs a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for Sales and the Development of the Fire Protection or Sprinklers product range and system in Italy. What you will doResponsible for sales and promotion of the Fire Protection or Sprinklers product range in the region. Report on a weekly basis to the Sales Director on activities and marketing information & achieve the budgeted sale and results. Promote the System for binding application products. Field demonstrate the proper installation of the Fire Protection or Sprinklers product & tool range. Pursue and obtain the acceptance and specification of the System by Owners and Engineering Consulting companies. Ensure that the proper knowledge of the Fire Protection or Sprinklers products and system is present in the region through seminars, training, technical literature, and technical support. Liaise with the local distributor, ensuring the proper information flow is available and maintained. Visit job sites and follow up on the installation process of the Fire Protection or Sprinklers System by the contractor.
Train the contractor's personnel in the usage and installation of the Fire Protection or Sprinklers system if required. Handle product claims in cooperation with the Corporate Engineering department. Provide assistance to finance personnel in collecting receivables from customers. Coordinate with other sales colleagues in the territory. About youUniversity / College degree, preferably as a mechanical engineer, or demonstrate equivalent. Technical knowledge acquired through experience (minimum 5 years). Familiarity with the piping business - or show the ability to quickly acquire the necessary knowledge and skills. You have commercial feeling and ambition and a customer-oriented approach. Result-driven - The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing challenges. Willing to travel as required (up to 75%). Has strong communication skills and professional appearance. Can communicate fluently in the local language and English. Knowledge of any other language is an asset.
