Business Development Manager
RINA is currently looking for a Business Development Manager in the Italy Food Certification unit, to be based in our office in Milan.
The aim of the role is to develop the full portfolio of RINA services throughout the target clients identified in the Italy Food Certification unit, focusing on cross selling and leveraging on RINA network and Business Units support.
Main Tasks:
Campaign planning, support the delivery of the business strategy and plan, contributing ideas and opportunities Define and put in place, according to goals & target, plans and actions in order to meet target regarding sales, revenue, operating margin, retention, quality of service in the Food Certification sector within North Italy area Develop local market and promote and improve relationships with Customers of assigned territory Focus on new business opportunities for Food Market including client visits and customer management Explore opportunities for alliances and partnerships to exploit new markets and opportunities Work with sister companies across RINA Group to develop 'cross selling' and mutual opportunities with clients Cooperate with other colleagues, both inside food sectorand outside, in a teamwork approach Track competitor activity and provide timely updates on competitor news and intelligence to the team Prepare and submit timely and accurate monthly reports of business development activities delivered and planned
**Requirements**:
Master's degree in technical disciplines with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Development within Food sector and Food certification Technical knowledge of the main food certification schemes (BRC, IFS, GLOBALG. A. P. , FSSC22000), Food Product and MS certification A strong and current personal network within the Food market would be of interest Good knowledge of the Office package, especially Excel Good written and verbal communication skills
