Business Development Manager - Eu
TransferRoom empowers football clubs, agents, and players to be successful in the transfer market by giving them real-time market intelligence and direct access to a global network of decision-makers.
Since our launch in 2017, clubs have used TransferRoom to facilitate over 1, 500 transfers and we are thrilled that today over 650 clubs across 94 leagues in 55 countries are accelerating their success on our platform.
A newly created role has just arisen for a Business Development Manager to oversee the development of our European customer base.
You will be engaging with senior decision makers from some of Europe's biggest football clubs, wowing them with our offering and converting them to TransferRoom advocates.
**Here is an idea of what you'll be doing**:
- Qualify and develop new leads; either face-to-face and online
- Manage your portfolio strategy
- Achieving your individual revenue targets and department KPIs
- Maintain accurate pipelines
- Understand, manage and maintain the CRM system
- Travel regularly to meetings across Europe (Stadiums, Training Facilities etc)
**Who you are**:
- 2+ years experience working in a subscription or membership business and/or a high growth startup environment with a proven track record in developing new business
- A hunter with proven track record of pitching at CxO level
- Fluent English (ability to speak one/all of the following languages; French or Italian)
- Sports experience is not a prerequisite but an interest and ability to talk intelligently about football is a must
- Full Drivers license
- Able to travel upto 75% of the time (post Covid)
