The Opportunity As a Business Development person at Ackcio, you will be a key player in driving our growth across Italy and nearby regions in Europe.
You will take ownership of expanding our client base, building long-term relationships, and delivering impactful results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
This role is ideal for an experienced business development professional who thrives on autonomy, innovation, and collaboration.
Your Role & Responsibilities: Strategic Account Development Develop and execute strategic plans to identify and target high-potential accounts across Italy and neighboring countries.
Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to understand their challenges and position Ackcio's solutions effectively.
Manage and grow existing accounts while identifying and converting new opportunities.
Collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored demonstrations and solutions that address client-specific needs.
Sales Leadership Drive the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to deal closure.
Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Lead and support channel partners, providing training and guidance to maximize sales impact.
Represent Ackcio at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions, showcasing our innovative solutions.
Market Insight & Positioning Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to shape Ackcio's go-to-market strategies.
Proactively track upcoming tenders and projects, ensuring Ackcio's solutions are specified in tender requirements.
Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals, aligning with Ackcio's strategic priorities.
Operational Excellence Utilize CRM tools (e. g. , Salesforce) to manage opportunities, track sales activities, and maintain accurate records of client interactions and project timelines.
Prepare detailed sales forecasts and pipeline reports for management, providing actionable insights to support decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align efforts and drive business growth.
What We're Looking For Experience & Skills Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
A Master's degree is a plus.
3-15 years of proven success in business development, sales, or key account management, preferably in industrial sectors such as geotechnical monitoring, civil engineering, mining, rail, or infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of geotechnical and structural monitoring solutions is a significant advantage.
Exceptional track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving revenue growth in a B2B environment.
Proficient in CRM platforms (e. g. , Salesforce) and productivity tools, with the ability to manage complex sales processes effectively.
Attributes Highly motivated, independent, and results-oriented professional with a growth mindset.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all organizational levels.
Analytical thinker who can prioritize effectively and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Native speaker of Italian with fluency in English; proficiency in additional European languages is a strong advantage.
