**Your Challenge
This Business Development position has the responsibility to both "support and drive" profitable sales growth of the Cybersecurity and Networking portfolio.
This includes, but not limited to, the ability to: proactively plan, create demand, influence specifications, target & penetrate accounts, drive promotional activities, work and sell collaboratively, create budget proposals, own an opportunity pipeline, , perform customer presentations, as well as handle numerous other business development and sales related activities.
- Development strategic concepts and engage in technological business development to expand new markets and engage new customers
- Definition of market strategy and identification of business opportunities through Solutions Partners and Top Customers in Italy
- Scale up the business Growth, with "End to End" customer approach, to define and drive early engagement on large and strategic projects, expanding the Italian market
- Functional reporting line to Digital connectivity Headquarter to drive Sales initiatives and strategies, collaborating with the global team
**What you need to bring with you
- Consistent business development or sales experience in cyber security and networking for operational and information technology environments in Italy
- Excellent capability to identify business opportunities and drive them to the closing
- Track record of strategic planning and identifying industry trends to help shape out go to market strategy
- Experience working with clients at executive and information technology level
- Customer Face to Face and opportunity management
- Proven ability to work in customer complex environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to speak in Italian and in English fluently
- Effective collaboration in networks across businesses and functions
- Always strive to develop technology and ethical guardrails in parallel
- Be a role model for openness and inclusiveness as a non-negotiable cultural element
- Eligibility to work in Italy
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering; telecommunication, information technology, electronic are preferred
- Willingness to travel including some international travel
