Business Development Manager (South Italy) Roma Remoto EUR 50. 000 - 70. 000 Key Responsibilities Form close relationships with end users, consultants, and specifiers in the Video Security Channel to promote the Hanwha brand and increase sales and demand for Hanwha security products. Achieve set objectives relating to all relevant sales and product quantity mix through strategic analysis of market opportunities. Conduct short and medium-term sales planning, liaising with the Hanwha Product Management team to share market information. Manage and develop a network of partners (integrators and installers) in the Hanwha channel partner programme (STEP Programme), with responsibility for sales revenue generated through assigned partners. Support Strategic Sales Managers for opportunities identified in the assigned region within defined Strategic Vertical Markets. Consult with end users, consultants, and major system integrators at senior levels. Ensure the existing customer base is kept updated with product information and increase project pipeline and revenue with existing customers. Create a project pipeline with new customers and report weekly on sales and project progress. Conduct existing customer audit analysis and provide input towards marketing plans for new product launches and customer events. Focus on product/channel/customer margin and accuracy of forecasting to achieve all budgets and targets. Requirements A proven track record in a business development or sales role, achieving sales in a demanding environment. Extensive experience of CCTV and associated technologies, or similar market segment. Capability to work independently in understanding customer needs and creating professional commercial proposals. Knowledge of the market, main channels, and potential customers within the electronic security market, IT & Networking. Previous experience working for a CCTV manufacturer is beneficial but not essential. Good understanding of new technologies, especially network video systems and their topology. Business or Technical Degree Level Education is advantageous. PC Literate with intermediate and advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel. Desire to positively impact the market and brand recognition. Ability to develop strong relationships with internal company Directors/colleagues and key clients. Demonstrate independent thinking and good clear judgement. Ability to motivate teams to achieve targets and work effectively in a team environment. Logical, well-organized, and detail-oriented. Pro-active approach and solution finder. Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative. Project Management, Product Planning, and strong communication skills required. Ability to present at board level to Blue Chip companies and communicate clearly at all levels. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. English language essential plus at least one local European language. Clean Driving License. Location This is a field-based role; the jobholder will ideally live in the Milan area or in the South region. This role will involve extensive travel within Italy and occasional travel outside of Italy.
