**Job Description**:
Multinational company, world leader in the engineering & manufacturing of lift trucks for materials handling, search for its Italian market, based in the manufacturing plant near Milan:
Business Development Specialist
The Business Development Specialist I position will primarily be responsible for the research and collation of key customer intel that will provide the Major Accounts Sales Professional with enough information to create targeted and compelling messaging to initiate customer contact and interest.
This position will be required to achieve quantified metrics concerning completion of the HYG intelligence gathering framework.
Key Accountabilities
- Intelligence Gathering: operations contact at local level and LinkedIn profile/Interests/Thought Leadership; Business Strategy of targeted account; key initiatives of targeted account; latest news and updates of targeted account; targeted account competition.
- Building relationships & Presenting Information: work with the Major Accounts Manager to target accounts & to develop joint account & contact strategy plans.
- Maintaining records: maintain an organized workspace and properly file documents, updates, and product information so it is readily accessible for reference and to answer questions.
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of work experience in customer relationship management, sales, or marketing.
No degree with 4 years of relevant experience
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written, knowledge of another European language is essential
- Ability to professionally and confidently engage with Director level contacts both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to manage business relationships across multiple cultures.
- Superior listening skills, curiosity, creative, divergent thinker
- The ability to self-motivate developing and managing their own time, with a clear focus on customer satisfaction
- High energy and be target driven
- Ability to maintain an organized
