Global Power Generation is looking for a dynamic, motivated and determined person to be included in the BD Control & Portfolio Management as a Business Development Specialist Control & Portfolio Management.

Main Activity:

Reporting to the head of BD Control & Portfolio Management unit, you will be expected:

to monitor the progress of the activities related to the annual objectives and KPIs of the area, proactively supporting the manager highlighting any critical issues and proposing solutions and / or mitigation interventions;

to create, maintain and manage business models, preliminary financial models and other evaluation models, aimed at the analysis of renewable projects and portfolios, contributing to their optimization in coordination with Project Developers and Development Teams;

to perform analyses to be used for developing the unit's business strategy, optimize projects' returns and support in the negotiation with business partners;

to monitor the progress of projects under development in the area, planning the internal authorizations processes, in continuous collaboration with the BD Central Planning function;

to coordinate the definition of the area budget and monitor the progress of costs related to project development, in collaboration with the AFC areas;

Technical-Professional knowledge:

Good understanding of the renewable energy business, energy markets (including regulation) and related technologies;

Advanced use of Excel and similar softwares used for modeling and analysis;

Experience in modeling with special focus on financial modelling and financial simulations;

Knowledge of investment valuation, Corporate finance and Project finance principles is considered a strong plus;

Who you are:

Economics and Finance or Engineering's degree; any university degree provided demonstrable financial modelling capability and experience in project structuring with following experience:

2-4 years work experience in business development, investment analysis and/or mergers and acquisitions functions

Experience in modeling with special focus on financial modelling

Experience in Business Development Origination, M&A and deal structuring will be considered a plus

International experience will be considered a plus
