The challenge
Are you an experienced strategic commercial head, responsible for both sales and product marketing within your business area?
Are you looking for a business and role where you will have the opportunity to shape the future organization?
If so, we are looking for a Business Unit Director to deliver hyper growth across our Cooking & Built-In business in Italy.
As the Business Director you will act as an entrepreneur, defining and implementing the commercial growth strategy of Built-in in the Italy markets, guiding autonomously the business and gaining full responsibility over sales and profitability locally.
You will partner with the Product Line at the HQ to drive the evolution of our range of products in line with regional consumers/customers' expectations.
You will provide educated directions to key local stakeholders on marketing activities to best positioning us in the retail and online environment through a thorough understanding of the different markets and relevant final users' needs.
You will coordinate all functions involved in ensuring a flawless, timely delivery of our products (demand, logistics, order management), and a state of the art after sales service support.
Based from our Vimercate office, with hybrid working available, you will be a commercial leader with a consumer first mindset who wants to make your mark on our organization and change how our consumers interact with our cooking & built-in appliances.
What you will do
Develop a strategic long-term plan for the growth of our Built-in product portfolio, taking full ownership over its commercial results and focusing on the following drivers:
- Brand portfolio positioning
- Product line-up & pricing policies
- Distribution coverage & trade partner assortment & plans
- Go-to-market execution: flooring, store, shopper on/off-line
- Manage budget development and revenue for the whole product line;
- Share with the Country Managers the responsibility for profit & loss;
- Monitor and analyze sales, market and industry trends early on to make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact the business
- Create reliable forecasts to ensure sustainability of inventory
- Keep all stakeholders at HQ and regional level up with new consumer, product & distribution trends in the market
- Support local accounts in sales activities;
- Ensure the VOC is rapidly and clearly channeled to continuously improve the relevance, quality, price positioning and aftermarket of our products
- Partner with the Product Line to enhance our offer, including new product introduction by providing thorough and timely insights.
Promote their launch in the market, including key trade partners meeting;
- Support the markets in removing any business roadblock to fulfil our costumers/consumer's demand (e. g.
product availability, quality, service)
- Develop an exit strategy for discontinued, slow-moving products
- Lead a team of both direct reports and dotted line team members, all focused on pursuing common KPIs and driving coordinated HQ/local efforts accordingly
What you need to succeed
- Sound sales experience, possibly in consumer electronics industries and built-in categories;
- Strategic marketing competencies; used to interpreting data and driving value adding insights;
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and team management skills
- Trade Marketing, Category and Product management background
- Organized, determined and persistent.
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Decision making oriented & able to quickly react to changing environment.
- Fluent English
