Business Engagement Expert Italy
Role Purpose**:
- Interlock with Italy market Busines Units to shape business strategic initiatives, provides a strategic consultancy service to the business units to assess major strategic projects, acting as the glue of the Vodafone NW organization by removing silos planning and enabling innovation through lowest cost strategy- Prepares italian e2e High Level plan (pre-G0) to show the feasible milestones (in different drops) to be prioritised to ensure plan has a strategic and tailored scope with reduced TTM.
High level plan includes engagement and pre-aligment of all accountable stakeholders/teams.
- Advises if and when to submit demand via the Demand Front Door.
Assists Demand Assurance Manager and Strategic Planner with initial triage of demand/any verifications with the business units and in setting priorities.
- Ensures alignment and addresses any queries/takes actions at the Interlock meetings.
- Ensures any contractual, budget/LRP and legal or regulatory considerations are considered.
- Supports market CNO and teams with major strategic projects & initiatives when responding to the business units and external facing customers/government (Regulator)
- In charge of establishing and maintaining positive relationships with business customers, ensuring that customer's needs (both internal and external) are properly handled and meet Vodafone Network capabilities and portfolio availability
- Coordinates the project portfolio in the market providing at each time an updated and executive view of all strategic & main priority projects open within the market
**Key accountabilities and decision ownership**:
- To work efficiently and proactively with external customers, avoiding the loss of profitability and loss of opportunities during the identification of new demand products is a must
- Interlock with market Busines Units to shape business strategic initiatives and to ensure forecast traffic inputs are available on time for the different budget submissions
- Responsible preparing Pre-G0 high level plan of any strategic demand that is reaching the portal.
- Support the Engagement Executive for any escalations related to new requests, and coordinate relevant Nw functions to identify mitigation actions & feasible solutions
- Ensures Project Portfolio coordination: accurate and updated view on the market of relevant projects, raises issues and alarms & workarounds
**Core competencies, knowledge and experience**:
- High knowledge of network architecture
- Strong Process & Project management skills
- High stakeholder management ( internal & external ) with good communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills harnessed towards delivering the right outcomes for Vodafone and our customers
- Ability to negotiate and adapt, to achieve optimum balance of result, accommodating requirements from often contradicting sources
**Must have technical / professional qualifications**:
- High knowledge of NW architecture
- Financial acumen
- University degree
- Must have experience managing external customers
- Master or Bachelor degree
**Key performance indicators**:
- Customer & Business units demand agreed on time and aligned with Vodafone Strategy
- Meet or exceed internal customer expectations (OpCo's, CP&S and VBP&S) with respect to the accountabilities of the role
- Pre-G0 high level plan must have a clear & measurable ROCE improvement
