**The Position

In Novo Nordisk Italy, as Business Finance and Insights Partner, you will be working as dedicated finance partner to our business units.

Your tasks will span over cost business controlling, cost forecasting and finance partnering to Business Unit Directors.

You are expected to own the cost governance for the affiliate and challenge the Directors on the cost spent.

The position entails a variety of activities from daily operational tasks to finance projects, moreover you are expected to work closely with Supply Chain, Procurement and Accounting function.

The position is based in Rome, and you will have exposure to global stakeholders as well.

In more details you will:

- Analyse how cost is administered by the business units and prepare both short-term and long-term planning.

- Evaluate cost saving potential by working with Procurement and the Business Unit Directors in alignment with our long-term strategy and to reach our goals for sales.

- Perform finance controlling and ensure that budget in relation to annual cost is kept.

Monitor and check that costs are realised within the limits of the budget

- Handle strictly confidential data regarding our strategy and organisational plan.

Support the Directors to ensure they have the needed funding to operate.

- Create tools for cost follow up in Power BI or Tableau.

**Qualifications

To be eligible for this role you hold an MBA or master's degree in Finance or Economics and you have at least 3+ years of relevant work experience as cost controller, business analyst, finance partner or alike, with a focus on management reporting, financial planning, and analysis.

We also require:

- Strong analytical skills.

- A can-do and proactive mind-set and a positive approach to tasks.

- Great communication skills, being able to explain a complex situation in a concise and simple manner and you can collaborate effectively with people at all levels in the organisation.

- Fluency in English and Italian.

- Excellent technical skills (SAP, Alteryx, and Power BI and/or Tableau)
