Vifor Pharma a world leading Nephrology, Iron Deficiency and Cardio-Renal pharmaceutical company are experiencing rapid growth due to pipeline realization and optimization.

To support the field force in Italy a position has arisen in our Rome location for a talented commercially minded business analyst to help to optimize key performance indicators, metrics and technology.

You will have experience within the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry in a business analyst role focused on commercially minded topics CRM optimization and have excellent stakeholder management skills.

A significant component will involve interactions with our global team in Zurich so English language business fluency is essential.

This position will report to the Commercial Director of the Affiliate

Main Accountabilities

Guiding and supporting local senior management and cross-functional teams with proactive insights and recommendations from market research and data analyses

Leading data analytics projects to generate and enhance local business analytics / market intelligence

Ensuring all data analytics reporting meet data quality and integrity standards

Managing internal and external data providers and vendors to deliver impactful business insights, while managing budget, timelines, and stakeholder inputs

Building Commercial Analytics capabilities into institutional systems and processes, training all relevant teams and stakeholders Tasks

Translates findings / insights from research and data analysis into actionable recommendations for strategic and operational projects and reports them to a broader business audience

Assists in the evaluation andreporting of market place dynamics, competitor activity and new market opportunities

Identifies and leads projects to enhance business processes by translating business needs into functional and technical requirements for data management, reporting and visualization activities

Leverages analytical, reporting, and visualization tools to improve operational efficiency

Ensures all data analytics reporting systems meet internal data integrity standards

Coordinates partners, data providers and vendors to develop solutions and deliver impactful business insights, managing project budgets, timelines and stakeholder inputs to ensure data analyses are delivered in reasonable time

Collaborates with the global team as well as other teams to leverage cross-functional synergies and to share best-practices

Builds Commercial Data Analytics capabilities into institutional systems and processes, training all relevant teams and stakeholders on tools and techniques

Bachelor / Master degree or equivalent in a relevant field

Minimum of 7-8 of related experience in the life sciences industry or equivalent experience

Excellent analytical skills and good knowledge of statistics

Solid understanding of pharmaceutical databases

Ability and willingness to take on a hands-on role in project execution

Methodical work approach with great attention to detail

Quick grasp of new concepts and high willingness to learn on the job

Professional level in English, both in oral and in written communications

Preferred Requirements Experience in interactive data visualization

Understanding of main machine learning methods and optimization techniques
