Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here's how the Business Intelligence Manager role will make an impact: you will be responsible for coordinating Viatris Business Intelligence team, to support all company functions in terms of identification of business analytical needs, data acquisition, data management, reporting, analysis, presentation deployment and market research.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Lead Business Intelligence function by defining strategy, processes and activities to support all company functions and business analytical needs
- Monitor the evolution of company products vs market trends and provide specific standard and ad hoc analysis and key interpretations of the main evidence to help the reading of reports and decision making
- Guide the development of reports in PowerBI, define KPIs and measures to be included in the reporting system to ensure effective reporting and dashboards for management and marketing; create visualizations of complex relationships between different big data sources (both internal and external) in a user-friendly and easy-to-understand way to facilitate business reading and decision making; in this activity cooperate with the Advanced Analytics function providing input based on business needs
- Support business review, budget, forecast and strategic plan process and monitoring for company channels, LOB and products, also managing competitive intelligence
- Support management and BU Head to explore new market opportunities leveraging market data and insights; support lifecycle management and portfolio expansion projects through products and market assessment for different TA's
- Support marketing team with the management of market researches; help the business to plan, recommend and implement researches to support decisions, in line with strategic and tactical plans; coordinate market research activities as point of reference for full portfolio, defining tasks and responsibilities and sharing results
- Ensure and drive consistent communications across multiple business units, about report interpretations and insights, encouraging actionable recommendations
- Train and develop the organization capabilities in using advanced analytical tools to monitor performance (e. g.
PowerBI reporting system)
- Manage vendors and providers of market data, optimizing resources and budget
- Manage, develop and motivate the team and employees, in compliance with human resources development plan
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree preferably in Economics or Management, Engineering or Statistic.
However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
Previous experience would be an asset
- Experience (years/area): 5 years in analytical/commercial excellence roles in pharmaceutical industry (or similar)
- Good knowledge of Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience in using Advanced Analytics tools
- At least 3 years of experience in managing a group of people
- Personal skills: good analytical skills of large quantities of data, accuracy, clear orientation to internal and external customers, high resolution capacity, project management skills and ability to set priorities, result orientation, ability to work in dynamic environments, great relationship and communication capabilities
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required
