Business Manager And Sales Support
ZENIT Smart Polycrystals srl is an innovative Start-up that produces advanced ceramic components with superior properties for the semiconductor and photonics markets.
Specifically, these include transparent polycrystals for lasers and scintillators, optical components or highly resistant parts for semiconductors producers.
We are searching for a talented Business Manager and Sales Support to join our team.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities Define and implement the commercial strategy to drive growth and market presence.
Develop and expand the client network.
Contribute to the fundraising strategy for the next investment rounds, including identifying and engaging potential investors.
Oversee the commercial team: define and monitor progress.
Work with customers to identify their needs and support the development of new products that meet market demands.
Address customer concerns by implementing effective corrective actions in collaboration with the team.
Actively participate in transitioning new products from R&D into production following project management strategies.
Education & Experience Bachelor degree in Applied Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, Engineering or Physical Sciences degrees.
MSc or PhD in optics or related field is an advantage.
10+ years of hands-on business management experience.
Experience in definition of the commercial strategy of new products.
Experience in client acquisition and establishing investor relationships.
Skills Demonstrated managing background.
Technical credibility with customers.
Ability to translate specifications into production requirements.
Demonstrated knowledge of the market and its actors (customers and competitors) and ability to identify upcoming trends.
Ability to communicate, negotiate and close deals, understand both sides (customer requirements and production constraints), and translate the needs into quotations likely to lead to a purchase order.
Interest in technical fields related to ZENIT's products, interest in ZENIT's technology and production methods, knowledgeable about sources for relevant information, systematics for information archiving and market analysis.
Conversational knowledge of Italian is an advantage.
Flexibility to cope with specificities of working in an early phase of development of a start-up company.
Very good verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated knowledge in the use of management systems.
Ability to collaborate with and coordinate team members to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Self-motivated, hard-working, goal-oriented, task-focused, and a reliable team player.
Working Conditions Travel: Frequent travels in Italy and abroad (mainly EU and USA) to meet with customers and interact with them onsite or at trade shows.
