The role will focus on growth but also includes product requirements and development efforts specific to Japan.
The role is multi-functional and the person will be the single threaded leader for Business Prime Japan strategy including initiatives spanning growth, marketing, promotions and operational maintenance of the Business Prime SMB program.
This is a high visibility role with a major impact on business outputs.
The role offers candidates with a mix of vision, customer obsession, and execution skills the chance to shape the future of a strategic program for Amazon. This is an individual contributor role. Key Job ResponsibilitiesJapan Growth and Country Leadership: Manage growth (customer adoption, engagement, retention) and goals for Business Prime in Japan.
Drive adoption of Business Prime via sales and marketing channels. Sales Enablement: Work with AB sales in Japan to ensure our sales teams members understand how to have customers adopt Business Prime at scale and drive rapid adoption of Business Prime benefits. Promotions, Pricing and Plans: Collaborate with Business Prime team, Sales Agents, Customer Advisors, Data Science and Finance partners on promotions, incentives, pricing and global plan structure. Customer Insights and PRFAQs: Use voice of the customer mechanisms to glean Japan customer needs that can be uniquely met Business Prime.
Work backwards from the customer to create compelling proposals for JP-specific product requirements.

Our customers range from government entities with tens of thousands of users to sole proprietors. Minimum Requirements- 5+ years of experience with time spent in product management, sales enablement, product marketing or other go-to-market roles. - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements. - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership. - Japanese: Advanced (able to make presentations to management team, speak with customers). - English: Intermediate-Advanced (able to attend internal meetings, communicate well verbally). Additional Qualifications- Demonstrable ability to build lasting relationships and navigate complex cross-functional initiatives. - Able to balance strategy with strong operational skills and able to understand and optimize complex, large-scale business processes. - Commercially astute, with strong focus and accountability. - Excellent business judgment, with a track record of generating ideas, solving problems, and delivering results independently. - SQL knowledge/Candidate required to be comfortable to learn SQL.
