Role Purpose Support effectively Vodafone business in engineering and designing complex and innovative cloud/ICT/virtualized solutions thanks to a strong technical background, vision and market knowledge Key accountabilities and decision ownership - Engineering and designing projects based on cloud/virtual platforms and services, collaborating with Vodafone Business, Technology departments and partners - Scouting, technical on-boarding and managing of ICT partners & their products included testing/business simulation - Solutions integration in Vodafone Italy and Group ecosystem (platforms, processes and cyber security guidelines) - Collaboration with Project Management and Assurance teams in delivery and in-life phases guaranteeing a smooth hand-over and high-quality support Core competencies, knowledge, and experience - Strong competence, knowledge and directexperience on VMware ecosystem - Good knowledge and experience on virtualization, private, hybrid and public cloud architecture and commercial products (AWS/Azure/GCP) - Good competence and experience in datacenter design Must have technical / professional qualifications - Preferential certifications:

VMware specific (VCP, VCTA, VCDX, VCAT ) - Public cloud vendor-specific certifications are considered a plus - Higher education in computer engineering or Engineering (ICT, Telecommunications or Electronic) are preferential - Fluent in English Key performance indicators - Number of innovative projects engineered and designed with positive outcome - Special projects/tenders managed from design phase to delivery supporting build phase up to positive testing and hand-over - Number of partner/products yearly on-boarded
