Duties : Articulate market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapeConduct market segmentation exercises to develop market segment-specific strategies. Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarkingDefine segment-specific value propositions that beat the competitionDevelop product roadmaps that align with business strategyDesign go-to-market strategy, inclusive of channel strategy and partnershipsWork with R&D and operations in the development of new products to meet customer requirements. Manage the product lifecycleDevelop Business Plan (Achieve cross-functional alignment to the plan) : Define resource requirements necessary to execute the product roadmapWork cross-functionally to define sales, technology and operations strategies and goals, in line with financial goals.

Lead to consensus on specific tasks. Develop the annual operating plan (Sales and Gross margin)Execution – New Product Development & Launch : Be the opportunity champion for PAC projects. Plan product launches, including the development of marketing and sales plans. Provide demand forecast inputs to S&OP. Attend customer meetings in support of winning new businessExercise thought leadership. Provide inputs to Marcom for the development of collateral, including e-commerce. Profile : Engineering or technical degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience from the automotive / aerospace / defense industry or equivalentAbility to understand mechanical, electrical, molding, plating, and assembly basicsAppetite for technical aspects, and customer application and systemsMastery of office automation (Pack Office, SAP, PDMLink)Willing to travel across Europe to face customers and or suppliers 25-50% travels to be expected2 days home office possibleAbility to work in an international and multi-cultural environmentStrong organizational skillsExcellent communication and presentation skills, ability to simplify complex conceptsBusiness acumen and ability to create strong relationships with the customerResult-oriented way of workingFluency in English & French language
