**About the Role

As Mechanical Buyer, you will play a crucial role in the effective and efficient management of the procurement process.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining relationships with suppliers for the procurement of bespoke components, scouting new potential suppliers, and making regular visits to assigned suppliers (located nearby the company in Italy)

- You will be responsible for timely management of suppliers in terms of costs, delivery, and quality, utilizing company management systems to handle contracts.

- Collaboration with the Purchasing team will be essential in achieving cost targets for contracts, and you will actively contribute to make or buy strategies.

- Monitoring the order confirmation process and ensuring compliance with agreed delivery dates will be a part of your daily tasks.

- You will be responsible for transforming production and spare parts commitments into purchase orders in SAP.

**About you

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics or similar

- 3 to 5 years of experience in the same role

- Basic skills in mechanical technical drawing, materials, and manufacturing processes.

- Knowledge of SAP management system, MRP logic and ERP systems

- Proactivity and flexibility

- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills, both internally and externally

- Strong problem-solving ability and management of business-related emergency situations

- Ability to handle peaks of workloads without stress

- Good knowledge of English Language
