Donati Sollevamenti Srl - a company of Konecranes Group, a world leader in the industrial lifting sector, is looking for a Buyer.

Purpose of the role

Buyer will be in charge, in accordance with corporate strategies, to select suppliers, mainly in Italy and occasionally abroad, to manage supply contracts up to the definition of multi-year contracts, to carry out day-to-day activities and to analyse and improve current ways of working.

Main Tasks

1.

Search and selection of suppliers

Management of purchases of technical products aimed at supplying the products needed for internal production to identify new suppliers and consolidate the existing ones.

Scouting out suppliers in order to reduce purchase and/or processing costs by carefully assessing information about suppliers, technical risks, intended as the ability to ensure the quality of the product, and logístical risks considering packaging, transport, duties, insurance and returns.

Management of supply contracts

Management of strategic suppliers through the drafting of supply contracts in which to define the purchase conditions with particular reference to prices, delivery conditions

Conduct of purchase negotiations and issue of purchase orders

Issuing of documentation for the completion of the purchase order in accordance with internal policies.

Review and monitoring of the annual budget.

Periodic review and discussion of the costs of providing and timely update of data in the SAP management.

4.

Monitoring and reporting activities

Monitoring and verification of the Importante Azienda of raw material prices and components in order to keep under control the Importante Azienda of purchase costs.

Periodic analysis of the statistical data of the suppliers of competence.

Experience Required For The Position

SAP system experience preferred

Coming from industrial sector;

Knowledge of the English language;

Knowledge of value analysis techniques, problem solving, good mastery of major computer packages, negotiating skills and strategic planning complete the profile
