**About the Role
Key responsibilities:
Collect and analyze technical and economical requirements for current service needed in national and multinational level, with particular attention to timing and costs, identify and evaluate supplier rationalization opportunities, new potential supply sources, analyze supplier capacities, risks and quality status
- Define and store the data of purchases, monitor the process of purchase orders and track prices and supplier performance trends
- Negotiate suitable commercial conditions and keep updated contracts.
**What You Need to Be Successful
The ideal profile has a technical diploma or an Engineering Degree (logistic and production orientation are preferred).
This role requires strong relational skills and negotiation, willingness to work in a team, problem solving attitude, authority in managing relationships with both internal functions and the Corporate Purchasing Group.
It is also required:
- Fluent knowledge of English
- Real passion for supply conditions & quality improvement
- Excellent Knowledge of Office package (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point), Internet and Outlook
- Basic knowledge of SAP ERP is preferred
- Orientation to target achievement
- Strong interpersonal skills, initiative, dynamism, autonomy, flexibility, humility and willingness to learn, curiosity, strong focus on the objectives and team spirit in teamwork complete the profile researched.
- The workplace is 40 km from Milan.
