**Missione**:

The Senior Buyer position entails managing the order portfolio to ensure the continuity of production supporting trading activities in link with the other departments.

Duties also include coordinating with all involved stakeholders and work on supply chain activities and assuring materials on-time and respecting the previously established requirements, such as price and quantity.

**KEY ACTIVITIES

- Manage procurement planning, release purchase orders through manufacturing requirements and lead times to avoid any shortages while limiting inventory cost; monitor KPIs and control plan.

- Collaborate with planers to ensure that the customer delivery date is respected: respond to requests for lead time, inform of any delay in supply

- Order book management in connection with Standard and Subcontracting POs (including Kanban and VMI when implemented):

- Track suppliers confirmations (date, quantity & price), request for deliveries reschedule-in or out, manage cancellation requests, monitor and coordinate on-time deliveries with suppliers.

- Collaborate with Sourcing to ensure data is up to date in the information system and analyze the performance of suppliers; when required, participate in the preparation and the action plans follow-up.

- Ensure that the stock level is maintained at the right level and participate in daily meetings to monitor the activity of the supply chain.

- Propose changes to optimize flows as part of continuous improvement; ensure that ERP data is up to date (delivery times, safety stock, etc.

)

**Profilo**:

**SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

- ITALIAN: Mothertongue

- ENGLISH: B2

- + 3/5 years of experience as Technical Buyer;

- Eperience in: order/purchase management, stock management, procurement procedures;

- ERP SAP: professional user;

- Good understanding on logístical flows (Imports) and complete supply chain;

- Adaptability, Problem Solving & Teamwork.
