It protects and guarantees work conditions that respect individual dignity, while promoting a collaborative, harmonious, fair and supportive work environment.  As a Buyer, you will join the Procurement department, within the Supply Chain area, for the purchase of materials mainly in the Instrumentation, Control & Telecom Systems sector.  The Buyer's mission is to purchase materials for the assigned strategic product classes, in terms of quantity and technical characteristics, based on the needs of the projects acquired and in the process of being acquired for the construction and maintenance of plants.  Main activities: Participate in the definition of the purchasing contract strategy in close collaboration with the technical/project units of reference.  Prepare the tender strategy and the reference bidder list.  Issue the request for quotation to suppliers based on the purchase request specified by the technical units.   Support suppliers during the preparation of technical/commercial proposals, interfacing with the technical units for any clarification.   Prepare the commercial/economic tabulation to compare the different proposals and suggest actions to be taken to improve the result of the offer and/or select the supplier.   Conduct the commercial/economic negotiation.   Finalize the tender process, draw up the specific authorization documentation and the related contract.   Follow and negotiate, if necessary, the order revisions.   Perform the assigned activities in accordance with the procedures and the company systems and tools provided.   Correctly archive the contractual documentation.  QUALIFICATION: Degree in Engineering/Economics/Law [preferred] KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: Fluent (B2) LABOUR RELATIONSHIP: Permanent contract YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5 IT SKILLS: Knowledge of the main IT Procurement tools (SAP, SAP ARIBA, Data Warehouse) and Microsoft Office.  SOFT SKILLS: Analytical and organizational skills, problem solving, flexibility, initiative and communication skills; ability to work in a structured way to ensure traceability of work processes.  NICE TO HAVE: Availability for medium-long term mobility in other locations in Italy and abroad.  LOCATION: Milano, Via Russolo 5 (Rogoredo).  All interested candidates (L. 903/03) are invited to consult the privacy policy (art. 13, D.
