C-TAM (Cell Therapy Account Manager) Lead Center-South Italy

We have an exciting opportunity for C-TAM Lead Center-South Italy to join the innovative cross-functional team for cell therapy at Kite Pharma, a Gilead Company, in Italy.
Being a core member of the commercial team, you will add value through leading the Center-South Italy Cell Therapy Therapeutic Specialists team, engagement with key stakeholders at all levels to drive differentiation and continue establishing Kite as the leader in cell therapy.

The role will report to the Senior Business Unit Director Cell Therapy at Kite Italy.
This role requires close collaboration with national and international colleagues from Kite commercial team and the extended cross-functional team.
Extensive travel is required to lead the Cellular Therapy Account Team and build strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders in Center-South of Italy.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Manages the Cell Therapy Therapeutic Specialists team for assigned geographic area to ensure they meet the full requirements of their role
- Clearly defines roles, responsibilities and measurable outcomes for all activities of team.
Identifies those capable of advancing to more responsible positions and takes appropriate action to support this.
Accountable for the selling effort in an assigned geographic area.
- Responsible for achieving all geographic product revenue and expense targets.
- Develops and initiates strategies that create new business and build key accounts both in referral and in the authorized treatment centers
- Provides recommendations on customer strategies, coordinates the development of territory business plans.
- Establishes superior working relationships with key opinion leaders & the senior account level leadership as well as other decision makers and influencers locally and nationally, which can influence prescribing policy/protocol position.
Ensures monitoring systems are in place and being managed effectively in order to evaluate sales force effectiveness e. g.
Company CRM databases.
- Lead the development and execution of strategic account & sales plans which will include clear goals and tactics aligned with corporate and commercial business objectives
- Utilizes high level of business acumen in analyzing and coordinating activities from identified industry trends, competitor's resources and practices.
- Partner with marketing and training to develop the launch strategy and oversee the execution of brand strategies, goals and promotional tactics aligned with customer facing efforts.
- Establishes and meets future developmental needs of the sales team.
- Works with team to create learning plans and recommends training and development solutions and provides mentoring and coaching as appropriate.
- Ensures compliance with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of Kite activities.
- Establish and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with cross functional peers and teams across the Kite Pharma & Gilead organization.
- Facilitates and provides timely feedback to appropriate Kite Pharma & Gilead management regarding account business trends, changes in the therapeutic landscape, industry issues and business opportunities.
- Requirements:_
- Possesses a long term, strategic understanding & experience in oncology/haematology & SCT market and stakeholders in Italy
- Launch experience and portfolio management experience within hematology would be an advantage
- Experience with managing large accounts and account networks as well as complex environments, including strategic planning, problem solving and execution
- Ability to successfully work and integrate across functional areas
- Proven ability to recruit and mobilize field organizations
- Track record of building & leading diverse teams in challenging situations
- Working knowledge of regulatory and compliance
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Outstanding written, verbal and presentation skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrate initiative and a willingness to work hands-on and with a sense of urgency, in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Scientific educational background preferred or other related graduate-level degree is preferred
