Call for Accounting Officer for its Office in Rome, Italy. EPLO is currently recruiting an Accounting Officer for its Office in Rome, Italy. The Accounting Officer will report directly to the Office of Program Planning, Budget and Accounts (OPPBA) and will inter alia:Oversee the financial management of the Office, prepare forecast budgets, monitor and record expenses, maintain and review complete financial accounts and records. Monitor expenditure and provide reports. Manage business accounts and prepare financial statements. Prepare regular reports on expenses and office budgets. Organize and maintain all financial documents and inventories. Ensure compliance with accounting and tax laws. Prepare and provide financial statements according to IAS and IFRS. Required:Master's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or any related field;At least 5 years of professional experience, preferably in an international and diverse environment, in Accounting, including preparation of budgets, monitoring expenses and financial reports;Knowledge and competency in accounting principles and international standards;Good communication, writing and presentation skills, in English and Italian;Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and accounting software;Ability to work as part of a diverse team;The Accounting Officer will be a staff member of the EPLO (www1. eplo. int) and therefore an international civil servant. The net annual salary may be between 18, 000 and 24, 000 Euro, while health insurance will be provided as a plus. The Officer's physical presence in the Office is required.
