Job Description Summary**: At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Company, we've been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years.

We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for engine and mechanical transmissions applied to both civil and military aviation (i. e. , accessory drivetrains, engine thermal management, turboprop & helicopter reduction gearboxes, etc.

).

The activities are mainly carried out on site, but also possibly at the customers.

**Essential Responsibilities

- Production activities in compliance with company procedures

- Carry out functional tests of systems or cards with the presence of Inspectors, if required by customer

- Provide troubleshooting, repair, testing and reporting

- Issue of technical documents (i. e.

reports, repair sheets, specifications, test procedures, part list) relevant to the systems under test or repair

- Review malfunctioning and identify any undesirable trends

- Highlight components under obsolescence or obsolete and propose possible solutions

- Support to periodic review of Risks and Opportunities Analysis relevant to the products of competence

- Prepare reports or presentations showing the achieved results starting from the technical data collected

- Share engineering information and promote open dialogue

- Customer interfacing (private and/or governmental)

**Qualifications/Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or High School Diploma

- Knowledge of electrical and assembly scheme drawings

- Knowledge of use of main measurement instruments (scope, digital meter, signals generator, accelerometer and temperature sensors) and electronic equipment (power supply, calibrator, PC, monitor)

- Basic knowledge of set-up, maintenance and validation of test benches

- Basic knowledge and use of a thermal chamber and basic use of tin soldering

- Good analysis skills and strong attention to details

- Capability to carry out concurrent and varied tasks

- Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to interface at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally

- Availability for interventions at customer site

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

- Fluent in Italian and basic English language knowledge, both written and oral

- Work visa in accordance with local regulation is required

- Basic knowledge of Acces

- Basic experience of electronic repair using microscope

- Orientation to Customer

- Good English language knowledge, both written and oral
