The candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration and support of cloud based infrastructure using DXC best practices.

Reporting into the Italy Cloud & Platform organization, the Cloud engineer applies his/her knowledge to solve complex business issues. Capable of consulting, designing, testing, implementing, managing capability requirements, and integrating of Cloud solutions into varied environments. The candidate will work in a team of architects, infrastructure engineers, developers participating on the technical design, modeling, coding, testing and release of the automated cloud solutions to production. Minimum skills required:Strong and solid background in GNU/Linux Operating System administration skills (5+years)Experience supporting a large/medium/small scale, elastic, highly available cloud environmentKnowledge of the OpenStack project ecosystem and hands-on Openstack development / coding experience (Openstack Canonical requested)Solid and proven experience with orchestration engine and delivering IaaS and PaaS offerings within Openstack5+ years of experience with software development, especially in Linux environment with one or more of the following languages - Java, C++, Perl, Python, Bash, PowerShellExperience developing solutions with configuration/automation management tools such as Puppet, Ansible or Chef. Experience with monitoring and usage collection tools such as Nagios Zabbix and CeilometerAt least 2 year experience with proven expertise in application containerization management with Dockers.
