Job Summary: Akrion is seeking a proactive and organized Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Milan office.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for bookkeeping, administrative management, warehouse inventory assistance, and acting as a liaison between our Italian subsidiary and the parent company's finance, administration, and HR departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Bookkeeping and Financial Coordination: Perform regular bookkeeping tasks, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with local regulations.
Communicate with external accounting firms and liaise with the parent company's finance department. Administrative Management: Oversee daily office operations, handle petty cash and payments, manage office supplies, and maintain a professional and organized work environment. Warehouse and Inventory Assistance: Record and manage incoming parts to the warehouse, maintain accurate inventory records, and coordinate with the parent company's warehouse department. Communication and Coordination: Act as the main point of contact between the Italian subsidiary and the parent company's finance, administration, and HR departments.
Facilitate effective communication and support HR-related activities. General Office Support: Assist with scheduling meetings, managing calendars, organizing company events, and providing support to visitors and new employees. Requirements:Language Skills: Fluency in English and Italian (written and spoken); proficiency in Chinese is a plus. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in office management, bookkeeping, or administrative roles. Skills and Abilities: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bookkeeping software.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with attention to detail. Other Requirements: Must be able to work onsite at our Milan office.
Familiarity with local accounting practices and ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
