Care Area Leader Oncology
Job Description Summary**: The Care Area Leader Oncology PDx is the clinical expert in the specific disease area and is responsible of driving the introduction of innovations among GE Healthcare Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) products, as well as, developing value-based Healthcare solutions across disease area through horizontal approach in Italy.
The CareAreaLeader will have a clear understanding of Care Area pathways and will demonstrate the proven ability to build strong relationships with KOLs at the strategic level.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Develop value-based Healthcare solutions across Disease Area
- Define and implement Market Access strategies supporting Account Managers to ensure access of GE PDX products at Regional and Hospital level by demonstrating their therapeutic, economic and societal value using a deep knowledge of the Regional environment.
- Manage and maintain the institutional relationship with main Regional Health Administration Professionals who have an impact on the development of national, regional and hospital pharmaceutical policy, for the evaluation and positioning of drugs, acting as the main interlocutor in the presentation and advice of the portfolio of GE PDX products.
- Provide guidance for the development and customization of pharmaco-economic data, cost effectiveness/budget impact models in line with the specific needs and requirements of sub-national stakeholders.
- Establish relationships with key stakeholders such as Regional Health Authorities, Medical Societies, Scientific Institutions, Payers and Patient Advocacy groups.
**Requirements**:
- Educated to at least master's degree or equivalent with a life science/clinical background (life science degree preferred)
- Strong clinical experience and technical background about the Oncology Disease Area with proved experience in a pharma or diagnostic company
- Commercial business acumen and basic negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, willingness to take the initiative to identify opportunities and Solid problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel on all the country and abroad (meetings/congress)
- Fluent in Italian (mother tongue level), Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Knowledge or experience among Imaging diagnostic business (preferred)
- Pharmaceutical Market Access Knowledge (preferred)
