We are searching for **Carelink Diabetes Contract Specialist **for maternity leave period, with Master Degree in Law.
**A Day in the Life
The core objective of this role is to negotiate CareLink Diabetes contract with Hospitals and support the Diabetes OU in privacy issues related to the management of Carelink Diabetes software.
It is also required to support the Diabetes Operating Unit in privacy and compliance matters that can impact the business, collaborating with the legal and privacy department in Italy and in the EMEA region.
The role reports to the Diabetes OU Product Manager.
**ASSIGNMENT DURATION: COVERING MATERNITY LEAVE
- Position is home based.
- The role supports the Business Unit in contract negotiations across the whole country.
- Company car is provided.
- Time travelling: up to 25%.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Manage the CareLink contract negotiation with Public and Private Hospitals
- Interact with the hospital's DPOs / Legal Department / Purchasing Dept in order to support them in the evaluation of Carelink Diabetes contract
- Manage and update the database with the contract negotiation status for all target centers and follow up on their activation status
- Collaborate with the EMEA Privacy Specialist and the legal department in Italy for every activity related to the contract
- Collaborate with the EMEA Privacy Specialist and the legal department in Italy for every activity related to privacy law and policy in the development and execution of new projects that the OU might wish to start with different stakeholders (administrative, physician, other business partners, vendors)
- Partner with the full OU in order to support the achievement of the goals in compliance with Medtronic's policy and territory law.
**Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Law degree
- Work experience in privacy law
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both towards different external stakeholders and with internal departments in an highly structured matrix organization
- Ability to meet deadlines and goal driven mindset
- High flexibility to meet evolving business needs
- Good word and excel knowledge
- Previous experience in a multinational context is a preferential requirement
- Fluency in English spoken and written.
