The Cash Processing Analyst is an intermediate level role responsible for Payments and Receivables (P&R) Operations.

The overall objective is to effectively handle P&R Operations, local and regional P&R initiatives, increase productivity, manage issues and minimise risks, reduce costs.

**Responsibilities**:

Process local P&R products (e. g.

cheques, tax and pensions payments, Ri. Ba).

Handle cheque issuance, deposits and payments of both internal (WorlLink) and external clients, in line with banking procedures and through an active cooperation with cheques local vendor

Handle local payments and Ri. Ba processing, as well as related investigations, supporting internal/external clients

Monitor and fix breaks on nostro/sundry/deferred accounts, manage BSER (Balance sheet exception report), deal with accounts owner responsibilities.

Own and escalate BAU and non BAU issues related to local products and outsourced processes with active engagement of Citi processing hubs and external vendors

Raise Tech incidents, manage incidents resolution calls

Manage complex queries received from clients/regional hubs/account managers

Execute complex transactions affecting team and franchise

Work in partnership with local stakeholders (Business, Product, Account managers, Legal, Compliance, Tech, Finance) and regional partners (Tech/Service/processing hubs)

Drive manual touch points reduction and digital initiatives

Create internal MIS, reports and comply with regulatory reporting duties

Perform records management analysis and disposition.

Coordinate projects, conference calls, tests, review/contribute to related documentation and implement initiatives in cooperation with Supervisor/Manager

Propose solutions that will increase operating efficiency and lead to an improved client experience

Appropriately assess risk by driving compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies

Escalate, manage and report controls issues, prevent risks

Anticipate and respond to requests and deliverables of internal and external clients, vendor, as well as auditors.

**Qualifications**:

3-5 years of experience in a related role

Good knowledge of cash products in general and related Legal, Compliance aspects

Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Effective written and verbal skills

Strong investigative and analytical skills.

Critical and independent thinker

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Management of projects

Assertive & strong team worker

Strong focus on Controls.

Ability to work independently within a team environment as well as to liaise with multiple internal stakeholders

Ability to prioritize and manage own and team workload.

**Education**:

Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
