Responsibilities The Supplier Quality Engineer will join the Cassina Quality team and will report directly to the Quality Manager; he/she will be responsible of ensuring customer satisfaction by securing quality of supplies and developing Cassina suppliers quality system.

Main Activities

The main activities the new person will be involved in include:

Secure quality of supplies in order to guarantee customer satisfaction and continuous flow of production line; Develop and improve suppliers quality systems; Develop, plan and lead supplier auditing process; Work closely with Purchasing and Procurement to establish a reliable and performing suppliers base; Manage promptly and in a structured way suppliers quality issues and monitor effectiveness of corrective actions; Together with Purchasing and Industrialization, work to secure product requirements are satisfied and proper controls established in case of suppliers change; Manage suppliers qualityKPIs; Work closely with inter-functional teams, triggering specific continuous improvement activities; Collaborate within the Quality team to spread the method and culture of continuous improvement in the company.

Experience and Education The person has a Degree in Engineering or similar; At least 5 year of experience in supplier quality management in production environment; Having gained experience in international contexts in the Design / Luxury sector will be considered a preferred requirement.

Technical and soft skills Knowledge of production processes (lean methodologies would be considered a plus); Knowledge of product/parts approval processes; Auditing skills; Customer oriented; Excellent attention to detail; Start up approach; Excellent verbal and written communication; Data analysis and statistical aptitude; Excellent interpersonal skills; Good English knowledge (knowledge of a second language will be considered a preferred requirement); Availability to business trips is requested.
