FAAC Group, world leader in access automation, parking and access control, including 40 sales companies, more than 3. 600 employees worldwide and 18 manufacturing plants, is looking for a Category Buyer to join our Corporate Purchasing Department at the Headquarter.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Analyze and negotiate terms and conditions of the commercial offers

- Purchase goods, materials and components according to the quality, cost and delivery targets

- Manage, develop and assess suppliers in order to improve supply-chain KPIs

- Identify areas of potential cost reduction, scouting new and better solutions

- Work closely to other departments in order to improve purchasing processes

- Ensure compliance with Corporate guidelines and Purchasing policies and procedures

- Identify areas of improvement of those policies, where applicable

**Key requirements**:

- Degree in Engineering or Business Administration, or similar

- Technical and/or electronic/electronical knowledge and understanding is required

- 1-3 years in similar position, within an industrial context

- Fluency in English, both written and spoken

- Knowledge of SAP will be considered as a plus

- Availability for business trips, when necessary
