Category Manager

**Position Overview**:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Category Manager Italy!

Responsible for building relationships with key retailers and influencing them to implement category initiatives, you work cross-functionally with sales and marketing to ensure alignment of recommendations to drive profitable growth for both the retailer and Kimberly-Clark.

The role reports directly to the Go To Market Leader in the Italian Consumer business.

**Location**: Flexible (Italy) - we are happy to discuss flexible solutions during the process

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deploy category commercial annual plan by channel/customer to grow share of market

- Prepare and track requirements of distribution, pricing & promotion, shelving and merchandising

- Lead Revenue Management diagnostic processes (Category diagnostic, Pricing & Portfolio, Distribution & Mix, Trade Promotions, Trade terms) and provide strategic recommendation to the Leadership Team

- Partner with commercial and marketing departments in the areas of business information, category management, channel visibility materials and trade presentations

- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Kimberly Clark sales partners, partnering on category management projects

**Requirements**:

- Significant Category/Trade Marketing/Sales experience, ideally in an international FMCG Company

- Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills

- Strong analytical and presentation skills

- Solid understanding retail businesses useful but not essential

- Excellent communication skills in English
