We are looking for a Category Manager to join our Electrification Products division in Distribution Solutions, located in Dalmine.

You will develop, plan and implement the procurement strategy focused on optimizing costs, quality, delivery and reliability of suppliers and supplied products for an assigned Category.

You will ensure execution in accordance with ABB instructions and procedures.

**This position reports to**:

Production Engineering Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Ensure identification, investigation, and selection of appropriate suppliers (focusing on quality, delivery, cost and sustainability) in accordance with Company policies.

- Define and establish local standard agreements with all major suppliers (in Italy or abroad), negotiate agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renew price lists, terms and conditions.

- Provide and maintain standard terms in purchase contracts/terms and conditions in line with Company directives and guidelines.

**Your background**:

- A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Management).

- 3 years of experience in a relevant position in an international context.

- Ability to negotiate with international supplier.

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Tools (Excel in particular).

- Nice to have: knowledge in SAP.

- A good English and Italian knowledge is mandatory.
