C&CE Manager, Capital Sales and Service EMEA THIS ROLE CAN BE BASED IN MILAN, MADRID, LONDON, PARIS, DUSSELDORF, WARSAW, KERKRADE About the role Context: Over the last three years, we have significantly invested in our Capital Equipment and technical services capacity to enable our growth, leverage acquisitions, introduce new digital tools, and create better alignment between our field service engineers and our commercial teams. We've nearly doubled our capital equipment-related revenue!
As we prepare for the years to come, when success will be even more dependent on the success of Capital equipment, we are investing in an organization to help accelerate our service revenues, improve CE-selling capabilities, processes, and enable the growth of our franchises and future acquisitions.
You are critical to driving compliance and standardisation through the appropriate use of technology and analytics. This is a highly collaborative, strategic role that partners across the commercial organization to maximize effectiveness through strategic analytics, strategy development and execution tactics.
The EMEA Commercial & Customer Engagement (C&CE) Manager will define and implement strategies, tools, and processes that drive improvements within the EMEA Capital and Service commercial organization and in partnership with the divisions.
The core objective of this role is: To align and oversee the strategic direction of the EMEA Capital and Service C&CE organizationTo steer the transformation through a regular data-driven business decision culture across the entire functionTo drive the functional efforts to create, process, and effectively use impactful commercial and customer data in a standardized way to provide meaningful commercial insights to grow services and capital lifecycle management. To partner with divisional business and functional leaders to develop a common divisional understanding and prioritization to drive Service Sales effectiveness through productivity analysis and processes. To partner with the global and central CoE leadership to get functional process and technology requirements captured, to ensure cross-divisional standardization in applying analytics, and to drive effective platform design. To support harmonization efforts, including pricing margin-mindset strategies. The ultimate goal of the C&CE team is to help the Service sales organization with impact initiatives that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the EMEA Capital and Service Organization. Your Responsibilities will include: Process Development/enhancementRemote service sales process – refining the process to improve success ratesContract Booking and Billing process enhancementEnsure successful platform integrations such as Magellan, Configure Pricing Quote, etc. to the Commercial Capital & Services organization; manage/oversee the designated super-usersService Revenue recognition on sales placement and rental dealsSales Analytics to drive better outcomesRemote sales territory mappingDivisional service revenue analysisCapital Equipment Deal profitabilitySupport & Lead data input for Divisional Quarterly Business Reviews on CE sales as well as annual Strat Plan modellingHealthcare Partnership & Solutions team collaboration, including services/capital dashboardsDevelop analytics and dashboards that support pricing execution & monitoring across countries and franchises, identifying key behaviors, patterns, and areas for attentionProcess alignment and engagement across divisional partnersConduct ad-hoc analyses to deep dive in any identified specific challenges. Sales Cloud Evolution for Service salesOpportunity alignment (CETS and Sales)Account profitability / visibility- engaging across sales teamsService Pricing offeringEnhance service pricing offerings to grow business and meet customer expectationsSupport EMEA Marketing on the definition of pricing strategies and price corridors for new products and existing portfolio. When needed, conduct/coordinate market research to support strategic price settingWork closely with Country Sales and Marketing to identify pricing challenges, develop commercial price concepts and guidance, and drive local implementation. What are we looking for in you? 5+ years' experience in commercial excellence or process-type roles; pricing experience preferable but not mustDemonstrated ability to build, lead, and inspire cross-functional, cross-cultural teams in a matrix environmentProven record of developing both teams and individuals that display core values. Fluency in English, other languages a plusIdeally MedTech, preference for capital equipment or service experienceTechnical knowledge - Sales tools, Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Pricing, Training, Project managementDevelops and/or identifies new work processes that will have broad applicability throughout the company; contributes ideas for improving work processes and achieving organizational goals; investigates and solves problems that impact work processes and personnel in multiple units or departments. May lead a group or team of employees in the achievement of organizational goals.
