**The role
At Soho House a **Host/Hostess, ** is responsible for greeting guests, answering all incoming calls, and creating reservations for Cecconi's and Club as well as supporting runners and waiters with clearing tables for arriving reservations.
As a Host you support the team with organizational efficiency and are great at building relationships as well as fostering positive experiences for all from the moment they arrive until they depart
A successful Host provides excellent service to guests and members via friendliness, discretion, and accuracy.

**Main Duties
- Welcome every member by name and guest is with open arms and in a hospitable manner
- Support and assist with answering high-volume phone lines and calls for restaurant, roof and cinema reservations, general inquiries, and deliveries, messages for members and from employees; among other inquiries
- Speak to standard Q&A regarding menus, hours of operation and amenity availability/pricing and comfortable reaching out for support to ensure all inquires are addressed and in a timely matter
- Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work environment, Host area and support Runners/Waiters with clearing tables for next tables arrival
- In real-time ensure any guest related concerns are addressed and action items have been set and a manager is notified
- Build relationships with members and guests and communicate and red flags and positive feedback to management to assess
- Influence a fun and positive atmosphere by being approachable and professional
- Administrative tasks (i. e.
properly keeping all paperwork logged and filed) Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
