**Cell Biology Scientist experienced in iPSC**:

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and creative Cell Biologist experienced in human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSC) and hiPS-derived cells for our iPSC Unit.

A Ph. D. in Cell Biology/ Molecular Medicine/ Pharmacology is ideal.

Expanding hiPSCs in culture and banking hiPSCs for research use

Maintenance and scale up cultures for hiPSCs and their differentiation toward different lineages, such as neuronal cells and cardiomyocytes

Development of disease modelling assays through assessment of physiologically relevant Phenotypes

Development of cell-based assays, for different targets and using different readout systems

Setting up, maintaining, and efficiently operating cost -effective laboratory operations

Familiarity with basic pharmacological concepts for receptors, ion channels and transporters

Evaluate, analyse and interpret research data

Ability to follow instruction closely, but also to work independently as required

Good team player

Ability to work to tight deadlines with a sense of urgency

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Use of GraphPad Prism

Fluent/good spoken and written English.

**The following skills would be advantageous**:

Genome editing of hiPSC lines for mutation introduction and correction, KI, KO, reporter gene insertion

Immunohistochemistry and phenotypic analysis

**Familiarity with lab automation**: micro titer plates and liquid-handling devices

Preparation of cells to meet the demands of multiple projects.
