Central Visual Merchandiser
Job Summary**:
The Central Visual Merchandiser supports the team in defining the Visual Guidelines for the Product Universe liaising with Product Development and Central Merchandising teams
He/she ensures the implementation of Visual Guidelines across the Retail/Wholesale network being the point of reference of Regional Visual Merchandising teams.
**Key Activities**:
**Guidelines
- Defines, together with Global Visual Merchandising Director and liaising continuously with Product Rooms, all the guidelines (seasonal and _ad hoc_) for the Product Universe for stores (LG/Acc. /Shoes and RTW, Special capsules)
- Coordinates and participates to the shooting of all Looks and Bars for each season during the Windows Book
- Defines VM trainings materials to the assigned markets
**Product Room
- Together with Product teams seasonally identifies key Visual Merchandising looks and product stories with a focus on either mens or womens universe
- Provides creative solutions to help animating new collection items
**Merchandising & Retail
- Works with the Merchandising Coordinators to ensure Brand image consistency within the assigned markets, acting as a single point of contact
- Works on Visual Merchandising guidance and solutions based on sales needs that satisfy both business needs and Brand image
- Possesses the complete Collection Knowledge for the season
- Partners weekly with Merchandising to understand and analyze business flows
**Openings
- Coordinates the team during all new opening plans and touch ups, renovations collaborating with Store Planning, Central and Regional Visual Merchandisers in their allocated Area to ensure stores are correctly zoned
- Participates in key image openings in allocated Area
- Set-up guidelines for all in store props in the assigned area
- Provides feedback during prototype stage on all modifications required for correct product presentation
- Works with Visual Merchandising Operations teams to create distribution of props and windows based on store tiering
**Showroom and Presentations
- Coordinates the setup of all Showroom Product Presentations for Retail and Wholesale
- **Props and Windows**:
- Monitor the uniformity of windows worldwide ensuring consistency with Brand image
**Profile**:
- + 5 years Visual Merchandising experience with a strong aesthetic sensitivity
- Proven ability to work in a cross-functional environment
- Strong Product Knowledge on RTW standards and styling
- Experience in Product presentations
- Aligned to the Brand identity
- University degree in an Art, Design or Business (i. e.
marketing/fashion management) based field preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Personal drive and result oriented
- Proactivity in proposing new solutions or exit comfort zone
- Project Management skills
- A flexible and dynamic team player
- Excellent English knowledge
- Geographical mobility availability
