Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will lead the certification and approval process for new LV Breaker products and also maintain the validity for them, ensuring compliance with relevant international and national standards. You will work as a part of the global team for Certification Engineering and Standardization in Smart Power. You will be mainly accountable for:

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather necessary documentation and evidence for certification submissionsBeing informed about specific certification requirements in target markets and ensuring products meet those standardsWorking closely with regulatory bodies and certification agencies to obtain approvals for market entryManaging the renewal process for existing certificates, proactively addressing any changes in standards or regulationsStaying up-to-date with industry standards and assess the impact of new standards on existing products. Actively participating as a representative in standard committees such as IECLiving ABB's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. Qualifications for the roleDegree of Electrical Engineering or similarProven experience in product certification, preferably in the field of electrical components or similar industry. In-depth knowledge of relevant standards, regulations, and certification processesMembership or willingness to participate in industry-standard committees such as IECStrong task management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesComfortable communicating in EnglishNo obstacles for travellingStrong awareness of Health, Safety and Security rulesMore about usWe value people from different backgrounds.
